To make this large-scale event a success, we rely heavily on the incredible support of our parent volunteers. Simply put, we cannot run this tournament smoothly without you! Parent volunteers are the backbone of the Troy Strawberry Classic, ensuring everything from field marshalling to helping with check-in runs seamlessly, creating a positive and organized experience for every player, coach, and family.
Volunteer Requirement for DFA Families
Hosting a tournament of this size requires a significant coordinated effort. To ensure we can provide the best possible experience for our athletes, we require that one parent per player sign up for and complete one volunteer shift during the tournament weekend. (Please note: Head coaches are exempt from this requirement due to their extensive coaching commitments during the event).
This collective effort ensures all necessary roles are filled, directly contributing to the success of the tournament and supporting every DFA player participating.
